Productivity and Screen Size Useit.com

The article talks about productivity and the size of the computer monitor. The bigger the monitor the more productive you can be was Apple's idea. The more one could get on a screen at one time the more someone can get done. I reality, it depends on how usable the website or intanet/internet is. If a company can create an intranet that is more usable it can save money because its employees will be come more productive and companies will have to pay them the same for more work. Employees will get more done. Companies can get more out of their employees. I agree with Jakob Nielsen's argument. He's right about apple's claim they are right if the person searching or thing being search is educated or usable then a bigger monitor may be more productive. It comes down to the limits of human ability.

Change your businesses life style.

some companies are to non-costumer based. Like dell is not very costumer centric according to the article. Since dell had many problems with its batteries exploding they needed to change their strategy to become more costumer centric. Companies need to make the costumer the main policy but that is not always the case. Some companies try and make this their main policy and create good costumer centric, but it does not always happen. It comes down to companies will do whatever it takes to make a buck even if it tells you to by more Big Mack knowing that they will hurt you health if you eat to many. Companies need to figure out how to answer those phone calls, costumer service questions, and treat costumer like they are number one.

internet mktg assign 2

  1. The rebook ventilator

  2. I found out that the people that purchased the shoes were very happy. They like the colors and fit of the product.

  3. It would make me more likely to buy the shoes because I would feel better about my purchase.
A prior purchase confirmation that they are buying a good or bad product.

  4. It gives good feedback to the costumer and whether or not they have chosen a good product to buy. Is it a popular choice and does it performs like the manufacture suggests?

  5. I would not recommend that kencole.com offer reviews because they are not competing with alternative brands on the same site. They have just one brand. Unless kencole.com can post only positive reviews to their product. They can offer recommendations on what styles might fit a popular trend or lifestyle, but not negative reviews.

  6. Yes, I look at reviews for electronic devices like cell phones and computers. Reviews are always biased, but they give a good overview of a product of its features. This is very nice when on cannot touch and play with all the functions of the item before one buys it.

  7. I think product reviews are good because they incite to what people think of the product. Hey, besides one does not have to look at the reviews.

Internet Marketing blog 1

Possible business uses for blogs

Blogs should continue to look like traditonal marketing if it sells on the net. If the blogs does not get any hits it probably has to change. Catchy titles and good infomation will attract attention. Pictures and reviews of products will also led to better advertising and word of mouth spreading.

Blogs are not a fad they can provide good infomation. more so blogs can be entertaining and start a good thread of communication. Marketers will continue to use blogs and try to reach the people that are blog crazy. Some people read blog more than other source of infomation. Marketers need to get there products out to as many people as they can that are in there target market. If blogs don't fit to their specific market they may fade away for that company and maybe they stay strong for the other company whose target market reads more bloggs. All bloggs are opininated, so what ever one read one must be prepared to analyze the infomation and compare it to other source and see how valuable the infomation is.

It would be nice for the the inderdicineary studies department to set up a blog. I don't know how much it would help me other than being able to view what other students have chosen to study. Nobody else has my major and maybe they can comment on it with their own blogg. Other than that, I don't believe it would be any more helpful than just going to see my advisor.
