Productivity and Screen Size Useit.com

The article talks about productivity and the size of the computer monitor. The bigger the monitor the more productive you can be was Apple's idea. The more one could get on a screen at one time the more someone can get done. I reality, it depends on how usable the website or intanet/internet is. If a company can create an intranet that is more usable it can save money because its employees will be come more productive and companies will have to pay them the same for more work. Employees will get more done. Companies can get more out of their employees. I agree with Jakob Nielsen's argument. He's right about apple's claim they are right if the person searching or thing being search is educated or usable then a bigger monitor may be more productive. It comes down to the limits of human ability.

Change your businesses life style.

some companies are to non-costumer based. Like dell is not very costumer centric according to the article. Since dell had many problems with its batteries exploding they needed to change their strategy to become more costumer centric. Companies need to make the costumer the main policy but that is not always the case. Some companies try and make this their main policy and create good costumer centric, but it does not always happen. It comes down to companies will do whatever it takes to make a buck even if it tells you to by more Big Mack knowing that they will hurt you health if you eat to many. Companies need to figure out how to answer those phone calls, costumer service questions, and treat costumer like they are number one.
